Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a safari with Afrosafaris Tours.

Deposit & Final Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit (10-40% of total tour cost, depending on the itinerary) is required to confirm your booking.
  • The final balance is due no later than 45 days before the start of your tour.
  • If a booking is made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required to confirm.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing. Charges apply from the date we receive your written cancellation:

  • 60+ days before arrival: Full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • 45-59 days before arrival: 50% of total tour cost.
  • 30-44 days before arrival: 75% of total tour cost.
  • Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of total tour cost (no refund).

Changes & Amendments

  • By Client: Requested changes are subject to availability and may incur administrative fees.
  • By Afrosafaris: We reserve the right to modify itineraries if forced by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, road closures, park regulations). We will always try to substitute with an alternative of equal or better value.

Rates & Inclusions

  • All rates are subject to change due to government taxes, park fees, or currency fluctuations. We will notify you of any changes before finalizing your booking.
  • Please review our Trip Inclusions and Exclusions carefully on your itinerary.

Travel Insurance – MANDATORY
It is a strict condition of booking that you have comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings. We reserve the right to ask for proof of insurance.

Liability
While we prioritize safety, Afrosafaris Tours acts only as an agent for accommodation, transport, and activity providers. We are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by events beyond our control (force majeure), including but not limited to weather, political unrest, illness, or wildlife behavior. You participate in all activities at your own risk.

Amendments
Afrosafaris Tours reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies.
